Environmental Action is a collaborative, co-facilitated community of learners, innovators, and principled advocates who prioritize environmental sustainability. We engage our communities through education, praxis, and critical thinking. Our members take personal responsibility for fulfilling this mission.

The Environmental Action Living-Learning Community is cultivated through an on-going partnership with the Office of Sustainability and Environmental Studies Program and is housed in Manzanita Hall.

Area Director: Juliane Corpus

Faculty Fellow: Katja Altpeter-Jones, Associate Professor of German

Campus Partner: Amy Dvorak, Director of Sustainability

We also have a blog, which is part of an initiative to strengthen connections between the Environmental Studies Program and Environmental Action. Blog participants include first-year students living in the Environmental Action dorm, and upper-division Environmental Studies majors, who are doing a variety of activities with each other this year.
