Wind Symphony
The Lewis & Clark College Wind Symphony, under the direction of Brett EE Paschal, is an exciting performing group with students of various majors. The ensemble performs diverse traditional and contemporary band literature, including occasional works for reduced instrumentation. Pursuit of high standards in preparation, performance, promotion of quality compositions and transcriptions from the wind band repertoire.
WHO CAN JOIN? All students at LC are welcome to join the ensemble, regardless of major, with some background in Wind Symphony (ie, played in High School, etc). Send an email to paschal@lclark.edu and tell me about your background.
HOW TO JOIN? At the beginning of the semester, we will post a notice of the Wind Symphony meet and greet. This is an opportunity for new and returning students to meet each other and talk about the WS plans for the semester. Students should register for MUP 112-01.
INSTRUMENTS? YES! We have instruments we can check out to you FREE of charge!
LOCKERS? We have lockers for students who own their own instrument. See the WS Coordinator to get a locker.
Music is located in Evans Center on the Undergraduate Campus.
