National Women’s Studies Association promotes and supports the production and dissemination of knowledge about women and gender through teaching, learning, research and service in academic and other settings.
As a member, L&C Gender Studies program receives three complimentary student memberships annually. These benefits include the opportunity to present at the annual conference, receive reduced registration rates, and apply for scholarships and conference grants. All L&C community members have access to confidential support through the Confidential Advocates (formerly SARAs) who are trained to respond to and support survivors of sexual violence.
