  • Arizona Border Studies

    The goal of this program is to assist students in acquiring a more complex and sophisticated analysis of issues related to migration. 

  • Australia Biology

    The 2018 iteration of this program is designed specifically for majors in Biology and BCMB. Special Topics course focuses on venom biology.

  • Australia Regional Area Study

    This physically and intellectually rigorous program pays particular attention to the role of the environment, immigration, and settlement in shaping Australia’s history and society.

  • Australia Summer (Psychology)

    This program focuses on the social and political history of Australia through an international studies course, alongside a psychology-focused internship component. 

     

  • Chile Santiago

    Students enroll at Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and Universidad Diego Portales. Includes local outings as well as weekend excursions to Valparaíso and La Serena.

  • Chile Valparaiso

    Students enroll in regular university courses at Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Includes local excursions as well as a trip to Lake Villarica in the south of Chile.

  • China Beijing

    This program includes study of the Chinese language, and a variety of courses that focus on the art, history, literature, economics, politics and sociology of China

  • China Beijing CET

    Study focuses on language immersion and developing linguistic competency. This rigorous program encourages strong language acquisition and cultural engagement. 

  • China Chengdu

    The program includes an orientation tour prior to arriving in Chengdu, courses on contemporary culture and society, and field trips to rural Sichuan.

  • Cuba Havana

    Academic program focuses on the study of the construction of the Cuban nation with emphasis on issues of race, slavery, socialism and relations with the U.S.

  • Dominican Republic Santiago

    This program focuses on the history, culture, and current socioeconomic and political issues in the Dominican Republic

  • Dominican Republic Santo Domingo

    This program focuses on the history, culture, and current socioeconomic and political issues in the Dominican Republic.

  • East Africa

    This program focuses on the history, socio-economic institutions, culture, natural history, and ecology of East Africa.

  • East Africa Biology

    In combination with the general culture program, the biology-focused curriculum centers around the diversity and ecology of tropical organisms in both marine and terrestrial habitats.

  • Ecuador Cuenca

    Academic study focuses on intensive language study and the history, culture, and socio-economic institutions of Ecuador.

  • Ecuador Summer

    Academic study focuses on intensive language study and the history, culture, and socio-economic institutions of Ecuador.

  • England London (Music)

    This program focuses on the arts in England, especially in London, and the relationship of music, theater, and the visual arts to English culture.

  • England London (Psychology)

    Study focuses on psychological and social issues in England and the relationship of the social sciences community welfare.

  • England: London (Humanities)

    Program utilizes the literary and social history of London as a base for a humanities program. The program is open to lovers of history, linguistics, philosophy, classic literature, and more. 

  • France Paris

    This program facilitates full immersion in the French language and French society through a varied academic program, homestays, cultural activities, and conversation clubs.

  • France Strasbourg

    The Strasbourg program focuses on the language, history and culture of France. Its history as the much-disputed prize of many nations has given the city a unique international flavor. 

  • Germany Berlin

    This program utilizes Berlin as a platform to study architecture, sustainability, structural biochemistry, and local history throughout the 20th century. Not for German Studies majors.

  • Germany Munich

    The Year of Study in Munich offers a wide range of courses through the Lewis & Clark Institute, including German language, literature, theater, contemporary culture and art history.

  • Greece Athens & Lesbos

    Study and travel will focus on the history and culture of Greece from the Classical Period to the Byzantine Era.

  • India Regional Area Study

    Integrated into all phases of the program are issues related to women, the environment, economics, politics, history, arts and human geography.

  • Ireland Dublin

    Students explore Ireland through the study of its history; literature; theater; and contemporary social, issues.

  • Ireland: Dublin (Psychology)

    Study focuses on psychological and social issues in Ireland, the Irish welfare system, and the history of Ireland through literary studies. 

  • Italy Siena

    Students will explore Italy through the study of its language, history, literature, and art.

  • Japan Mt. Fuji Summer

    The program focuses on Mt. Fuji as an actor in, and a product of, both the physical world and the human imagination.

  • Japan Osaka Gakuin

    Study focuses on language immersion and developing linguistic competency.

  • Japan Osaka Kansai Gaidai

    Japanese language study and an Asian Studies curriculum in the humanities and social sciences focusing on Japanese society and culture.

  • Japan Sapporo

    Academic study focuses on the language, history, and contemporary culture of Japan.

  • Japan Tokyo

    This program is a full-year program in intensive Japanese language study and a study in humanities and social sciences focusing on Japanese society and culture.

  • Morocco Regional Area Study

    This program focuses on the history, culture, social dynamics, and socio-economic institutions of Morocco.

  • New York City

    The focus is on contemporary theater and art being done in New York City and the surrounding area.

  • New Zealand Regional Area Study

    The program focuses on both the cultural and biological nuances of this unique location.

  • Russia St. Petersburg

    In addition to intensive language study, the program introduces students to the history, culture and contemporary issues of Russia.

  • Russia Vladivostok

    In cooperation with The School of Russian and Asian Studies (SRAS), Lewis & Clark offers this program in Vladivostok.

  • Senegal Dakar

    The Senegal program focuses on the historical, cultural, and socio-economic institutions of sub-Saharan Francophone Africa.

  • South Korea: Seoul

    Students study at Yonsei University in Seoul and live in a university dormitory. The program includes visits to the wetlands of Suncheon, Hwaomsa, and the tea fields of Mt. Chirisan.

  • Spain Alicante

    Lewis & Clark offers this program though the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and the Universidad de Alicante.

  • Spain Seville

    Study focuses on the major historical and cultural events that have shaped modern Spain.

  • Vietnam Regional Area Study

    Study focuses on a broad interdisciplinary introduction to the history, language, culture and politics of this Southeast Asian country.

  • Washington D.C.

    The program is an inter-disciplinary and in-depth study of a broad range of academic subjects examined within a political context.
