Pioneer Debate Institute

The forensics program at Lewis & Clark College would like to invite students and coaches to attend the 2016 Pioneer Debate Institute to be held July 9-23 on the beautiful campus of Lewis & Clark College.

We will offer programs in policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, public forum debate and parliamentary debate. The standard program will be two weeks for each format, but 1 week options (July 9-16) will be available upon request.

We aim to have one of the most qualified staffs in the nation. Every teaching staff member will have significant high school and collegiate debate experience across a variety of formats and will represent some of the region’s finest. We will maintain a 5 to 1 student to faculty ratio. Joe Gantt, director of the Lewis & Clark forensics program, will direct the institute. Please e-mail him with any questions that you might have at
