Pioneer Debate Institute
The forensics program at Lewis & Clark College would like to invite students and coaches to attend the 2015 Pioneer Debate Institute to be held July 11-25 on the beautiful campus of Lewis & Clark College.
We will offer programs in policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, public forum debate and parliamentary debate. The standard program will be two weeks for each format, but 1 week options (July 11-18) will be available upon request.
We aim to have one of the most qualified staffs in the nation. Every teaching staff member will have significant high school and collegiate debate experience across a variety of formats and will represent some of the region’s finest. We will maintain a 4 to 1 student to faculty ratio. Joe Gantt, director of the Lewis & Clark forensics program, will direct the institute. Please e-mail him with any questions that you might have at email@example.com.

NEW- Northwest LD Scholars program
Coming this summer, Lincoln-Douglas Debaters can spend two weeks on the campus of each school learning LD debate for a full month from some of the best faculty in the country. Lab size will be limited to 8-10 students for the “Northwest Lincoln-Douglas Debate Scholars Program.” From June 28th through July 25th (with the first two weeks in Walla Walla at Whitman and the second two weeks in Portland at Lewis & Clark) students will learn at least four LD resolutions in depth, have dozens of full debates, small theory sessions, speech re-dos, argument seminars with access to the full faculty of both institutes, and continuity as a group by working with a few select faculty the entire time—including national champions. Not only is this one of the best educational opportunities for debate in the country, we are offering a major discount in tuition for the inaugural 4 week program. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for more information.
