Take a look at our program offerings: Consider whether or not the program has prerequisites, the type of credit you’ll receive on the program, and when the program is offered.

Talk with your academic advisor or the College Advising Center: How will an overseas program fit into your graduation plan? Is there a certain semester or year that would be the best fit?

Make an advising appointment with Overseas staff: What program is the best fit for your academic interests? Are you familiar with the application process?

Fill out the Next Steps worksheet: Once you know which program you want to apply for, you can use this worksheet to figure out if there are any tasks you might want to start working on before you apply.

Think about your passport: Do you need to apply for a passport, or renew one that you already have? Get started now so there aren’t any complications later on!

Reach out to past participants: You can visit our blog to read about past programs, or request to be connected with a program alum through the Overseas Office
