The Career Center offers a variety of opportunities for alumni of all decades to connect with current students and each other. Browse the information below to discover ways to stay connected to the Lewis & Clark community.

Get Involved

Join the Lewis & Clark College Career Network. A LinkedIn group of alumni volunteers who live in locations throughout the world and represent a cross-section of industries and professional careers. Joining L&C Net is a great way to connect to students and share your career knowledge and expertise. Give advice on starting a career, relocating to a new city, share opportunities, hold mock interviews, and much more. Join now to connect with students and alumni.

Alumni and Parent Engagement>

The Alumni and Parent Programs staff plans events and activities that strengthen the connections between alumni, parents, students, faculty, and the College.

Sponsor an existing Career Center event or program is a great way to share your expertise, and connect with students. Sponsorships can include covering the cost of a program or a donation of your time, energy and insight. Think about what you wish was available to you when you were a student. As an alum, you know the potential and drive of LC students better than anyone. Whether you are looking for a rising star, or simply want to pay your success forward, we can help you recruit talent and grow the Lewis & Clark network at your organization. Post a job or internship, represent your company at a career fair, or host a student trek at your organization. The Career Center offers a variety of recruitment options to suit your needs. Just let us know that you are hiring, and we will find the right approach for you!

Alumni have unlimited access to our services for the first 3 years after graduation. While we look forward to serving alumni of all decades, appointments are based on availability. Priority is given to current students during the academic year. Alumni of 5+ years can typically expect one 1:1 advising session (possibly more during summer months) and referrals to additional resources.

Whatever you do and regardless of how much time you have to offer, know that your contributions will have a meaningful impact on students. Some of the ways you can get involved include:

Sharing a day in your work-life by doing an Instagram Story Takeover
Writing a guest article related to careers, industries and the job market for our newsletter/website
Joining a career discussion as a panelist
Hosting a career trek at your organization
