Volunteer to Help Lewis & Clark Students

In addition to the role you play in your individual student’s journey, we value the impact that families can play in building opportunities available to all Lewis & Clark students. Whether you are a new member of our community or your student is about to graduate, you and your student are engaged in a life-long partnership with Lewis & Clark. We welcome your engagement at any level: from supporting your student to offering internships for all Lewis & Clark students, your partnership is important to us. Below are some specific ways that you can help.

Post an Opportunity

Do you have an internship or job opportunity to share with current students and recent alumni? Visit our Post an Opportunity section for ways to share an internship with undergraduate students. .

Lewis & Clark College Career Network (L&C Net)

Every day we speak with alumni who want to assist current students and recent alumni connect with career resources and information.  The L&C Net is a network of alumni and parents who have volunteered to act as career “experts” to LC students and alumni in transition.  Hosted as a group on LinkedIn, alumni volunteers live in locations throughout the United States and abroad and represent a cross-section of industries and professional careers. Joining L&C Net is a great way to connect to students and share your career knowledge and expertise.

If you have not yet created a LinkedIn account, you will be prompted to do so.  Once you have clicked to join the group, the registration will be pending until an L&C Net administrator approves your registration. Please contact us with any questions.

Internships

Does your organization offer internships? We are here to connect outstanding Lewis & Clark students with opportunities to integrate their academic studies with experience outside the classroom.  If you work with an organization that hires interns or would consider hiring interns in the future, please email our Employer Relations Coordinator, Amanda Wheaton.
