Based in Portland, OR, Olivia Duffy plays mandolin, violin and occasionally tenor guitar. She studied mandolin with René Berblinger, they met through Artichoke Music. She attended River of the West mandolin camp for several years, meeting a wonderful group of international instructors and inspiring performers.
Playing with various Portland bands since 2010, she currently plays with How Long Jug Band, The Moonpennies and in a duo with René Berblinger. She started teaching in 2018 at Happy Valley School of Music and in 2023 joined Lewis and Clark as an adjunct faculty member. She’s recorded two studio albums and is currently working on a third, stay tuned!
