Student Digital Experience

Purpose

The Student Digital Experience Initiative is a temporary working group entrusted with the mission to assess, analyze, and enhance the digital journey of our students. By the close of December 2023, our commitment is to deliver a range of recommendations designed to elevate the student digital experience to new heights.

Scope of Work

We are committed to examining the student digital experience, ensuring seamless interactions with technology across the educational landscape. Our purview extends to, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Communication: Streamlining interactions with students and their families.
• Prospect-to-Student Transition: Enhancing the onboarding experience.
• Academic Experience: Elevating digital learning environments.
• Strengthening safety measures.
• Enriching the extracurricular experience.

Process

Our journey begins with a commitment to understanding the experiences of Lewis & Clark students in the digital realm. We will embark on a comprehensive learning and information-gathering phase, utilizing a multi-faceted approach including:

• Focus Groups
• Empathy Interviews
• Journey Mapping
• Observations
• Surveys
• Technical Analysis

Together, these methods will empower us to craft informed recommendations that pave the way for a transformed student digital experience.
