Resources for Working with Students

The Career Center can help you work with students to identify areas of interest, create an effective job/internship search plan, craft resumes, CVs, and cover letters, and much more.

Career Center Road Map

Use the Road Map to guide your conversations with students as they develop their Four-Year Plan. Additionally, be aware of the ways in which we regularly work with students to support their liberal arts education. You will find lots of ideas and additional resources in the Major and Career Exploration section.

Career Center Resource Library

The Career Center Resource Library is designed to be your one-stop shop for our most up to date documents and guides for students. The resource library contains general and specific information guides to our service, the career development process, resume & CV development, interviews, and more.

Job Search Planning

Additionally, the job search planning section has the most pragmatic information regarding resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, networking and professional development.  These resources are important in the very early part of a student’s college experience…you can encourage the development of these skills as early as second semester of the first year as student’s prepare for their summer break.

Guest Presentations

Finally, contact us if you would like a guest presentation. We would be delighted to spend 15 – 50 minutes with your students on how to plan successful lives fully engaged in civic lives using a liberal arts education.
