Emmanuel (he/him/his) is the Executive Assistant & Special Projects Administrator in the Office of the Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students. He is originally from Hermiston, OR and has lived in the Willamette Valley for over 14 years. He is a first generation graduate; having received a bachelor of arts from Western Oregon University and a masters of science from Portland State University. Prior to joining Lewis & Clark College, Emmanuel worked as the Executive Assistant in Student Affairs and National Student Exchange Coordinator at Western Oregon University as well as served as the Academic Support Coordinator at Willamette Universitys’ Willamette Academy.

 

Undergraduate Major: Social Science (sociology concentration) with a minor in Spanish

Graduate: Educational Leadership and Policy, Post Secondary Adult and Continuing Education

Why you chose Lewis & Clark: I chose Lewis & Clark because of the college’s commitment to student success, the student experience, and to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

Hobbies: I enjoy watching cooking shows, playing volleyball, spending time with loved ones, and dancing to a variety of música Mexicana.
