Week 14 Update, Vice President for Student Life

Happy Monday, Students!

Welcome to week 14. I hope the past break was restful and rejuvenating. I know for me, it was wonderful to see family and friends and to sleep in a bit later than usual. Now we are back at school and ready for the home stretch. I encourage you to continue to practice good self-care so that you can finish up the remainder of the semester strong and healthy.

We will be closely monitoring the overall infection rates for the campus, especially coming off of this holiday weekend. Here is the latest regarding positive COVID cases:

  • COVID-19 cases: Of the 376 community members tested so far in November there have been 1 positive on-campus and 7 positive off-campus cases. This includes undergrad, graduate and law, students, staff, faculty and outside vendors, and equates to a positivity rate of 0.27%.

As always, I encourage you to continue monitoring for any COVID-like symptoms and keep practicing good health mitigation efforts—only a few more weeks before the winter break.

All the best,

Robin H. Holmes-Sullivan
Vice President and Dean of Students
