The Compass Initiative
Vision:
The Compass Initiative is a commitment to strengthen our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in recruitment. We will remove barriers to the college search and admissions process. We will connect students of historically underrepresented groups to our faculty, staff, and current students. We will build a campus environment in which all students are seen, heard, and valued. The Compass Initiative will empower all students to achieve success and gain a sense of belonging at Lewis & Clark.
A compass is a tool that helps us to find our direction.
As we chart our own paths forward, a compass can help to guide us as we pursue our goals.
Programming:
We offer numerous virtual programming opportunities that will help you learn about the abundance of support systems and leadership opportunities in our community. Join us to hear from faculty, staff, and current students about how Lewis & Clark will be there for you throughout your college experience — and beyond. Follow us on Instagram (@lc_compassinitiative) and Twitter (@compassatlc) to stay connected and get reminders about these upcoming events!
