Ginger Moshofsky ’83

Senior Associate Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement

The Alumni Gatehouse

Ginger was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She arrived in Portland to study theater and English at Lewis & Clark and has been an Oregonian ever since. She remembers fondly the riveting discussions in John Callahan and Dorothy Berkson classes, as well as long hours and late nights at Fir Acres Theatre. While at Lewis & Clark, Ginger studied overseas, first in Italy and then in what was known as the Soviet Union, now known as Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.

Ginger loves working in higher education and especially in Alumni and Parent Programs. “I believe in the transformative power of a liberal arts education and I believe in Lewis & Clark. I am thrilled to be in a job where I connect with people, plan events for them to enjoy and build community amongst interesting and thoughtful people.”

Ginger returns to Lewis & Clark after time spent in Alumni and Parent Relations at Reed College and Alumni Relations at Pacific University.

Ginger married her college sweetheart, John Moshofsky ’85, and volunteered in schools and community theater while raising their two daughters. She is a freelance writer and for nine years wrote human interest stories about remarkable people in her home town of Tualatin for the Oregonian. Ginger loves spending time with her husband and daughters, Carli and Katie. She loves biking, water skiing, stand up paddle boarding and reading.
