Evgeny Mitta is a Moscow-born visual artist, gallery owner, documentary film director and actor. His movie, Act and Punishment, examines the context and reasons for the 2012 Pussy Riot trial and sentencing. The film has been banned by the Russian government and this is the first time it will be shown in the US.
