Contentious Global Issues Discussion-The Global Impact of Artificial Intelligence,
Professor Bob Mandel
Council Chamber, Fowler Student Center
Facilitated by Professor Bob Mandel, this session will highlight the value of being exposed to sharply contrasting perspectives on a topic deserving of multiple viewpoints and their distinctive supportive argumentations. Join Bob, and alumni Lisa (Burnett) Borelli ’89, Steve Van Mouwerik ’79, Micael Lonergan ’19, Eric Nijensohn ’98, and Matt Wuerker ’79 for a probing discussion that will empower the alumni to engage in diverse legitimate forms of critical thinking about the subject matter’s complex, multifaceted, and sometimes contradictory implications.

Alumni who have graduated since 2009 are invited to mix and mingle at the Young Alumni Social. If you are a pandemic grad, 2020 - 2024, you will receive a special gift during our Pandemic Grad Appreciation Moment.
