What we’re looking for in board members

Alumni board members love Lewis & Clark College. While no single characteristic defines an ideal member of the board, we seek nominees who are high achieving and high-energy enthusiasts of the College. We seek alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences who have the drive, the focus, and the skills to contribute to the success of the board and the College.

The following are some of the attributes we’re looking for in board members:

High Achieving	Lewis & Clark Enthusiasts
Leaders of organizations Prominent in chosen field Community activists/service oriented Strong academic record Student government and athletic team leaders	Demonstrated desire to contribute Willingness to give personally and financially Motivated to recruit others to give to the college Have ideas for alumni projects Organizers of alumni events Continued connection with faculty, staff, and/or broad base of fellow alumni
