Get Involved

Five diverse alumni posing and smiling in front of Frank Manor House Alumni volunteers are a vital part of the success of Lewis & Clark College, and there are many way in which alumni can get involved. Below you will find a list of volunteer organizations and opportunities. 

Albany Society Board of Directors

  • Student Alumni Association (SAA). Join forces with the SAA Ambassadors to participate in programming aimed at strengthening connections between alumni and students.
  • Class Reunion Volunteer: help organize your reunion and get your classmates to come!

  • Philanthropy Council: help the advancement office raise awareness about the importance of giving back and the culture of philanthropy at L&C.

  • L&C Network Advisor: join L&C’s Linked In network and be a part of the Pio professional network.

  • Community Friends Program: invite an international student to join your family for a couple of get-togethers and introduce them to U.S. culture.

  • Nominate fellow alumni for Alumni Honors Awards. Each year the Board of Alumni honors alumni who have achieved distinction in their chosen field, have shown exceptional leadership qualities and/or have demonstrated outstanding volunteer service in their communities and the college.   • Oral History Project. Since Spring 2014, students in History 300 (Historical Materials) have been interviewing alumni, faculty, and staff for the Lewis & Clark College Oral History Project. 
  • Refer a Student: do you know a high school student who might be a good fit with L&C? Please let us know!
