Miranda Hardy

Miranda k Hardy is an adjunct professor of Design. She is an associate artist with the Portland Experimental Theater Ensemble (PETE), most often lighting the work and collaborating to lift the visual aspects to match the rigor of the performance. She has been a guest artist at Reed College, Colgate University, The Juilliard School and NYU and has taught at Queens College. A graduate of CalArts and a long time resident of NYC she now makes her home in Portland. Her work has been seen locally, nationally and internationally focusing on the New and Experimental while staying grounded in the generally possible impossible.

Teaching

Miranda teaches Fundamentals of Design, Scenography and designs scenery and/or lighting for the main stage productions mentoring students of the design arts while continuing a professional career.
