Housing Accommodations

Updated 2/14/2024

Students in need of a housing accommodation must work with the Office of Student Accessibility to initiate the accommodation process and provide necessary documentation.

To move forward with housing and/or dining accommodations, please complete the following steps with the Office of Student Accessibility (OSA).

Students who already have OSA Housing Accommodations:

Students who already have housing accommodations with OSA are not required to renew their housing accommodation. Their accommodation is approved for the duration of their time here at LC. If a returning student with a housing accommodation is in need of a new housing accommodation, then they will need to contact OSA within the appropriate Returning Student Accommodation Timeline listed below.

Returning residents with an approved single room accommodation or an accommodation that requires a specific room type or room placement will be given a priority room selection time slot. Please email living@lclark.edu if you have any questions about room selection as a student with a housing accommodation.

Fall 2024 New Student                Housing Accommodation Timeline

New Students seeking a housing and/or dining accommodation must work with the Office of Student Accessibility. Dates and timelines for new student accommodations will be shared in May 2024. Click here to view OSA’s new student webpage.

OSA will work with new students on housing, assistance animals, parking exemptions, modified meal plans, and academic accommodations after deadlines, but placement into accommodation housing for the Fall semester can not be guaranteed if the documentation process is completed after specified deadlines.

2024-2025 Returning Student Housing Accommodation Timeline

Returning students seeking a new housing and/or dining accommodation for the 2024-2025 academic year must have completed their accommodation process with OSA by April 11th, 2024. To begin the process of accessing housing accommodations, please

1) schedule an appointment with OSA (choose Rebecca or Stephanie when selecting a staff member) and

2) send the Residential Accommodation Documentation form to your provider.

We urge you to start the accommodation process as soon as possible in order to meet the April 11, 2024 deadline.

OSA will work with current students on housing, assistance animals, parking exemptions, modified meal plans, and academic accommodations after this date, but placement into accommodation housing during returning student room selection in April 2024 can not be guaranteed if the documentation process is not completed by April 11, 2024. Students approved for accommodations after April 11, 2024 will be placed on a waiting list for their accommodation and the Office of Campus Living will place students into housing that meets their accommodations as space becomes available.
