Careers for Pioneers

Sunday, February 26, 3-4:30p.m., Stamm
 Don’t miss this opportunity to ask alumni and parents questions about various jobs and careers, professional conduct, and for advice. You will also have a chance to sign up for a mock interview session with a member of the National Board of Alumni.

Lisa Gaylord ‘76 presents “Integrated Programming as a Tool for Sustainable Development”

Lisa Gaylord is Director for Community Relations and Sustainable Development for Rio Tinto/Qit Madagascar Minerals, having recently moved from her former position as Director of Strategic Planning for the Wildlife Conservation Society in Washington D.C. She has been involved with biodiversity conservation and environmental programs since 1987. Lisa will be in town to be honored at the Alumni Honors Banquet and has agreed to present her work to students. This event will feature her lecture followed by time for Q&A.

Members of the Student Alumni Association are also invited to attend other Alumni events like the Young Alumni Happy Hour in January, regional events during winter and spring breaks, and Portland Alumni Events that feature presentations by faculty and a reception. Events change from year to year and typically cost $10. For members of the SAA, that fee is waived.
