Alyce has served in leadership positions at a variety of Native American cultural and arts-based organizations including the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian, the Arizona State Museum and the American Indian Language Development Institute (AILDI), the latter both located at the University of Arizona. She is currently the Executive Director of Mission Garden, a living agricultural museum of Sonoran Desert adapted heritage fruit trees, traditional local heirloom crops and edible native plants. Alyce was a recipient of LC’s Outstanding Young Alumna Award in 1991 and she has received a variety of awards throughout her career the most recent being from Greater Tucson League of Women Voters for innovation and leadership in social justice.
