With the November presidential election on the horizon, 3CE has teamed up with Student Activities, the Election Watch student group, the Political Science Department, and the Rhetoric and Media Studies department to bring you election resources, events, and ways to get involved!
Please join us for the following events:
Tuesday, September 25th – National Voter Registration Day!
Meet with representatives from The Bus Project outside of Fields from 5-7pm and register to vote!
Wednesday, October 3rd – First Presidential Debate
Time/Location: 6:00 – 7:30pm, Council Chamber
Topic: Domestic Policy
Moderator: Jim Lehrer, Host of NewsHour on PBS
Campus Hosts: Election Watch, Student Activities, 3CE
Refreshments provided
Thursday, October 11th – Vice Presidential Debates
Time: 6:00 – 7:30pm
Topic: Foreign and domestic policy
Moderator: Martha Raddatz, ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent
* This takes place during fall break but be sure to catch the highlights!
Tuesday, October 16th – Second Presidential Debate and Discussion
Time/Location: 5:30 – 8:30pm, Bodine 300
Topic: Town meeting format including foreign and domestic policy
Moderator: Candy Crowley, CNN Chief Political Correspondent
Campus Hosts: Rhetoric and Media Studies, 3CE, Election Watch

Monday, October 22nd – Final Presidential Debate
Time/Location: 5:30pm, Council Chamber
Topic: Foreign Policy
Moderator: Bob Schieffer, Host of Face the Nation on CBS
Campus Hosts: President Barry Glassner and President Xander Blair

Wednesday, October 31st – Trick or Vote! with The Bus Project
Dress up in costume and ask people to pledge to vote! Come by 3CE to pick up materials and learn more. Or email service@lclark.edu
Tuesday, November 6th – Election Night!
Join with fellow Lewis & Clark community members to watch the votes roll in! There will be snacks. Sponsored by Student Activities, Election Watch, and 3CE.
