Replacement Diploma
The College of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with Parchment ordering services, provides graduates with both a printed paper diploma and (beginning in 2024) a digital diploma. If you have lost your original diploma, you may order a replacement via Parchment Ordering services.

IMPORTANT! Always order your replacement diploma to be sent directly to yourself. You can share the digital diploma later, as many times as you want, and the shared digital diploma comes with a certificate of authenticity every time. But if you send the original order to a third party, the third party become the owner of the document instead of you. Do not place an order which sends your diploma to a third party.
Please proceed directly to the Lewis & Clark Diploma and Transcript Ordering Service. Follow the instructions to create an account, or log in to an existing account. You can find a short video about creating an account here. We strongly recommend that if you use your LC email to set up your account, that you also enter a personal email address. This will allow you to continue using the service even after your LC email address is deactivated.
What types of replacement products can I order?
Print and digital diploma - $50
- The traditional embossed printed diploma is suitable for framing and recognizes your achievement in obtaining your degree from Lewis & Clark College.
- The digital diploma can be shared with a secure and verified link, and many countries recognize digital diplomas as an alternative to an apostille.
Digital diploma only - $20
- The digital diploma can be shared with a secure and verified link, and many countries recognize digital diplomas as an alternative to an apostille.
- A digital diploma can be ordered even if you did not previously receive a digital diploma.
Notarized print diploma and digital diploma - $60
-
Your replacement print diploma will be created and a notarized copy made. Both the original print diploma and notarized copy will be mailed to you by US Postal Service and a tracking number will be provided to you. Allow additional processing time - this request may take up to 3 weeks.
- Please note that notarized copies of diplomas are typically only needed for an apostille for overseas employment or education. If you do not intend to use the notarized copies for an apostille, your order can be processed more quickly and at reduced cost by using one of the options above.
How long will my order take?
Replacement diplomas are typically created within two weeks. Allow additional processing time for high volume periods such as the beginning or end of the semester, or after degrees have been awarded. Requests for notarization may take slightly longer.
