Bio
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Santa Rosa, CA and came to Lewis and Clark to explore life in a larger city. I am currently the captain of the cross country team, and most weekends you will find me running around the trails of Tryon Creek with my teammates. Another passion of mine is classical piano, which I have been playing and listening to for over fifteen years. Some of my favorite composers include Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. My academic interests include everything from medieval history to organic chemistry, and I am currently writing a thesis on the development of new cardiovascular stents. After graduation, I plan on pursuing a PhD in organic chemistry with a focus on food science.
