My name is Abby Burke, I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I feel immensely grateful for growing up in this unique environment, which is in part why I was so drawn to Lewis and Clark surrounded by Oregon’s temperate rainforest. However, I have come to love Lewis and Clark for its dedicated professors, tight-knit community of students, and excellent study spaces. I have always been enamored by the complex, intersectional, and diverse world around me guiding my academic interest towards International Relations. At L&C, I am also a member of the Palatine Hill Climbing Team which empowers individuals to pursue climbing whether recreationally or competitively.
