Chuck Charnquist

Chuck Charnquist BS ’58, October 28, 2021, age 89. Charnquist was an active, much-respected member of the Lewis & Clark community for many years. He served the college as its public information director for nearly 20 years. Later, he became an active supporter of the Albany Society and a member of the Board of Alumni, serving as chair in 2011. Charnquist also played a pivotal role in public relations for the Portland Trail Blazers basketball team. In 2015, he was the recipient of the Don Balmer Citation for outstanding volunteer service to the college. He is survived by many loving family members and friends.
