Bio
Hello! I’m Soren, a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major from Madison, Wisconsin. Since earning my Wilderness First Responder Certification during my first year at Lewis & Clark, I’ve come to realize how much I enjoy the real-world application of science and medicine. With a degree in Biochem and Molecular Bio I hope to combine my passion for the outdoors with what I’ve learned on campus in some sort of outdoor or emergency medicine career. On campus, I’ve rowed for the LC Men’s Crew team, served as a Trip Leader in the College Outdoors Program, become an enthusiastic member of the LC Intramurals program, and volunteered at Portland Community College as a Teaching Assistant for their ESOL night classes. When I’m not in the library’s Silent Section, you’ll probably find me outside, tossing a frisbee with friends or taking a cat nap in the seldom-seen Portland sunshine.
