Public Health Reminders for Spring Semester

With Spring semester starting this week, we want to remind you of the ways you can protect yourself from respiratory illness, including the flu and COVID-19.

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

With Spring semester starting this week, we want to remind you of the ways you can protect yourself from respiratory illness, including the flu and COVID-19.

  • Continue to practice good hand hygiene and keep a supply of masks on hand. If you are on campus, you can pick up a free mask at the Health Promotion and Wellness office (Fowler Center 110), Student Health Center (Fowler Center 160), and residence hall lobbies (Copeland, Holmes, Platt, Tamarack, and Akin).

  • If you have not done so already, be prepared in case you do fall ill during this semester by ordering free COVID-19 tests from the government. Additionally, ASB has generously purchased COVID-19 tests to distribute for free to CAS students. You can pick those up at Campus Safety or the Student Health Center.

  • Self-monitor for Influenza (flu) and COVID-19 symptoms and test if you become symptomatic. Flu tests are available by appointment at the Student Health Center.

  • Information about our COVID-19 policies and procedures can be found on here.

  • Stay up to date on recommended vaccines, including the seasonal flu vaccine and updated COVID vaccine. Vaccinations remain the leading prevention strategy to protect individuals from severe flu or COVID-19 infections. Find a vaccination site near you. Additionally, be on the lookout for information coming about vaccine clinics on campus.

Thank you for continuing to do everything you can to keep our community healthy and vibrant. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact health@lclark.edu.

We are excited to see all of you back on campus!
