Donor Relations & Stewardship

The role of donor relations and stewardship is to enhance and deepen long-term, collaborative relationships with donors to the institution and to provide direct connections between a donor’s personal philanthropy and the mission, vision, and principles of the college. Our goals are to encourage and inspire lifetime support of the institution, to recognize donors in meaningful ways, and to involve donors in the results of their giving. Our efforts are guided by the principles found in the Donor Bill of Rights.

Tribute Giving

We are moved by the many individuals who wish to honor a friend or the memory of a loved one through a gift to Lewis & Clark. We thank you for your thoughtfulness. View the list of Memorial gifts and gifts in Honor.

  • I have only been at Lewis & Clark for a year and half, but it has been the most transformative, challenging, and empowering time of my life. I have been inspired by brilliant professors, cultivated interests I did not know I had, and had the joy of taking advantage of opportunities to step beyond the familiar. – Julia ’19

  • There is no more vitally needed resource in this country than educators who can support literacy and critical thinking skills. My scholarship will pay dividends as I go forth and educate the future stewards of this planet. – Charles ’17

  • When we discovered that I was awarded a hefty scholarship based upon pursuing the sciences, it felt as though a backpack full of coal had been lifted from my shoulders. It undoubtedly has made my entire education possible.  – Cayden ’19
