DEADLINE EXTENDED: ONE L&C Requests Member Nominations by APRIL 5

Lewis & Clark’s ONE L&C Employee Engagement Committee is excited to announce its new charter has been approved by Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Helen Howell and Vice President, Chief of Staff, General Counsel and Board Secretary Dave Reese.

ONE L&C drafted the new charter at its annual retreat in January, and is seeking nominations for the following positions:

• Chair
• Co-Chair
• Secretary and Treasurer

Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach Jimmy ChauHead Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach Jimmy Chau will step down as chair of ONE L&C after nearly two years (ONE L&C co-chair Christine Lui left Lewis & Clark in March 2023).

“I want to express our collective sincere gratitude to Jimmy for his outstanding volunteer energy spearheading employee engagement initiatives,” Helen Howell said. “His leadership has made a substantial impact, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere that everyone appreciates. Thank you, Jimmy, for your invaluable contributions!”

All Lewis & Clark employees are invited to review the new charter and submit nominations by April 5. Please note:

• Self nominations are encouraged
• Supervisors must approve nominations before elections take place in April

“The charter states that the elections are held in May, but this is the beginning of a new structure so we need to open nominations in April this year,” Helen Howell said.
