Everybody Reads 2024 is here!

Grab a free, custom copy of this year’s Everybody Reads title at Watzek Library and Boley Law Library!  In support of Multnomah County Library’s community reading project, copies of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin are available on campus. Read, reflect, and learn together in online and in-person activities outlined in the accompanying project guide.  Everybody Reads is a community-wide project that promotes shared reading and discussion around a single book. Watzek and Boley will facilitate book discussions in March.

About the book

Zevin’s richly imagined novel follows three friends over 30 years. In their mid-20s, Sadie, Sam and Marx design a compelling video game that brings them fame and fortune, changing the course of their lives.

About the author

Gabrielle Zevin is a best selling author of books for adults and teens. Her stories explore themes of identity, connection and love.

Her bestselling novel, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, has been made into a feature film, and her 2005 debut novel, Elsewhere, is a classic of young adult literature.

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow was an instant bestseller, making the top of the New York Times bestseller list and being named Time Magazine’s Book of the Year. Zevin is currently writing the screenplay for the feature film based on the book.

She has also written criticism for the New York Times Book Review and NPR’s All Things Considered. Zevin is a graduate of Harvard University and lives in L.A.
