**Particularly great for anyone with a connection to the state of Colorado**

This session will include a brief introduction from current Fellows and  will be followed by an open question and answer session. With a long  tradition of hiring graduates from varied academic and professional  backgrounds, the Fellowship program embodies much of what the liberal arts experience seeks to instill, and a significant portion of Fellows have come from a liberal arts background. As a foundation dedicated to  the betterment of the people of Colorado, El Pomar encourages any  applicants with a connection or commitment to the state to find out more and apply by the January 6th deadline.

El Pomar Foundation is a private, general-purpose grant-making foundation located in Colorado Springs, CO that established its Fellowship program in 1991. A two-year, full-time and salaried position, the El Pomar  Fellowship brings together rising leaders who are invested in the well-being of Colorado communities. Over the course of two years,  Fellows experience a 360-degree view of the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors through an exposure to a broad range of professional  experiences, including direct management of Foundation programs in the second year. This comprehensive exposure, along with a varied syllabus  of professional development in nonprofit management and community  leadership characterizes the Fellowship as a premiere post-graduate opportunity and prepares individuals for lifelong roles as community leaders.
