QuEST (Quaker Experiential Service & Training) is a service year fellowship in Seattle, Washington, that provides young adults with quality work at local nonprofits, an intentional residential community, and opportunities for training and reflection.
QuEST Fellows are matched with one of our partner agencies as full-time year-long volunteers. They receive housing, a food stipend, a personal stipend, a bus pass, health care assistance, and an exit stipend. The six participants live together in a shared house in Seattle’s University District. Come meet the Program Director. Promise Welkin Partner and find out more about this unique program!
Selected applicants are matched with our partner agencies. We provide a variety of placements, including direct service work, advocacy, and administrative support in fields like immigrant rights and homelessness.
Our list of positions for 2019-2020 will be finalized in late January and will likely include:
–Northwest Immigrant Rights Project — Domestic Violence Unit Intake Coordinator
–Northwest Immigrant Rights Project — General Intake Coordinator
–REACH, Evergreen Treatment Services — Group Programs Assistant Coordinator
–Washington Low Income Housing Action Fund — Voter Engagement Organizer
–United Indians of All Tribes Foundation — Development and Communications Coordinator
