The Psychology of Leadership
Date: 4:00pm - 5:00pm PST November 13 Location: Templeton-Thayer
The Psychology of Leadership:
There is very little difference between being a leader and being an effective person and team member. The psychology in each case is the same: strive to better understand yourself and others, be humble rather than defensive, and practice the psychological ebb and flow of engaging the beginner’s mind and taking informed, decisive action. Brian will discuss how these research-based ideas have been helpful in his journey co-founding a new Portland brewery, West Coast Grocery
Company. Brian is also a current faculty member of the psychology department here at Lewis & Clark.
This event counts towards a mandatory leadership credit on your passport, hope to see you all there!
