The ACS Scholars Program awards renewable scholarships to underrepresented minority students majoring in undergraduate chemistry-related disciplines, and are also intending to pursue careers in chemistry-related fields. Selected recipients are awarded up to $5,000* per academic year.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents who are African American, Latino, or Native American and are currently enrolled in high school or an accredited college, university, or community college. Applicants must be either a graduating high school senior, or college freshman, sophomore, or junior who intends to or is already majoring in a subject relating to chemistry. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate financial need and a grade point average of at least 3.0.
