Cathy Boeckling Olson BA ’78 retired in 2016 after 35 years in commercial insurance claims management. She spent five of those years working in Atlanta, where she made many lifelong friends. In 2019, she and her husband, Steve (brother of Rosemary Olson BA ’78), moved from the Portland area to Whidbey Island, Washington, to be closer to Steve’s family in Seattle. The couple likes to fish, crab, garden, and hike, and treasure their laid-back lifestyle. They also like to catch up with old friends, visit Cathy’s family in the Bay Area, and root for the San Francisco Giants.
