Fall 2015 Study Breaks

Check out what fall breaks your campus has planned for you!

President Barry Glassner, Dean of Students Anna Gonzalez, and Campus Activities Board invite you to a Finals Study Break!

Take a break during reading days! President Glassner, Dean Gonzalez and CAB will be hosting a study break with coffee and Sesame Donuts on Friday, December 11, at 2pm at the lower lobby of JR Howard Hall (facing Watzek Library).


Notes from Bon Appetit

  • December 12th – Breakfast starts at 7:30am in the Bon; stays open until 1:30pm
  • December 13th – Finals Brunch from 11:00am to 1:30pm; includes karaoke and upscale treats
  • December 16th- fall semester meal plan ends at 7:00pm

Watzek Recess // December 10 & 11 // 8pm – 10pm // Library Classroom

  • Dog therapy
  • Free 10 minute massages
  • Free snacks and coffee
  • Movies, coloring, board games

Garage Sale!!!
The garage sale will be taking place during the dodgeball tournament. It is a chance for people to purchase cool Lewis & Clark athletic gear for as low as $1!! You do not have to participate in the dodgeball tournament in order to attend the garage sale. All sales will be made in cash and all sales are final. 


Finals Week Survival Tips

  • Sleep
  • Avoid too much caffeine and other stimulants; it interferes with the quality of your sleep
  • Eat healthy food
  • Stay hydrated
  • Take a five minute break every 40-60 minutes
  • Breathe deeply
  • Laugh often
  • Exercise
  • Find a place and a study technique that works best for you
  • Stay connected – use your resources, talk with your friends, family and other support systems; check in with your faculty and staff
