Discounted VOICES Lecture Series Tickets Available

Campus Activities Board offers discounted VOICES Lecture Series Tickets!

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) just purchased a block of tickets for this year’s (almost sold out) VOICES Lecture series (http://voicesinc.com/) that are taking place here in Portland. The Campus Activities Board would like to offer students, faculty, and staff tickets to these speakers at a discounted rate so they can take advantage of this incredible opportunity to hear from four extraordinary women who are changing the world.

Here is a list of this year’s speakers:

  • Eve Ensler,Tony Award-winning playwright, performer, activist, and author of The Vagina Monologues.Lecture title, “In the Body of the World.” Wednesday, October 2, 7:30pm at the First Congregational Church (1126 SW Park Avenue).
  • Elizabeth Gilbert, Bestselling author of Eat, Pray Love. Lecture Title, “Big Magic: Thoughts on Creative Living.” Wednesday, November 6, 7:30pm at the First Congregational Church (1126 SW Park Avenue).
  • Marin Alsop, Conductor, first woman to head a major American orchestra. Lecture Title, “A Life in Music.” Wednesday, February 5, 7:30pm at the First Congregational Church (1126 SW Park Avenue).
  • Asenath Andrews, Educator and founder of Catherine Ferguson Academy. Lecture Title, “Take Away Shoes and Give Girls Wings.” Wednesday, April 9, 7:30pm at the First Congregational Church (1126 SW Park Avenue).

 Asenath Andrews: $42

The Campus Activities Board will be offering tickets to all students, faculty, and staff to see these speakers at $20 each! If you want to purchase all four tickets at the same time, the set will only be $65!

Tickets are available from Student Activities between 9am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Student Activities can be found in Suite 110 of the Templeton Campus Center (lower level; down the hall from the CAS Registrar’s office). Cash, check, and credit/debit cards are accepted.
