Without Moving: Tim Lowly on Painting a Mystery

Tim Lowly is a Chicago-based artist, curator, musician and teacher. As the son of medical missionaries, he spent most of his youth in South Korea.
His daughter Temma was born in 1985 with profound disabilities and has been a frequent subject of Lowly’s work. He will present his work in a multimedia presentation and lecture Wednesday, March 16th at 3:30pm in Thayer.
Tim is a professor and artist-in-residence at North Park University in Chicago, and represented by Koplin Del Rio Gallery in Los Angeles
