Parents Preview 2015
Date: August 26 - August 27 Location: Undergraduate Campus
We invite all of our new students’ families to join us for Parents Preview. Running simultaneously with the first two days of New Student Orientation, August 26 & 27, the program is designed to familiarize parents with the academic and co-curricular life of the college so they have confidence that they are leaving their student in good hands. The program is regularly praised for helping with the college transition. As one recent parent said, “Though it was difficult to leave…we felt much better about it for having spent the time on campus these two days.”
The formal program begins at 3:45pm on Wednesday, August 26 with a social event for parents and concludes at 7pm on Thursday, August 27 with a community picnic following the Opening Convocation, the official opening of the 2015-16 academic year. We trust you will make plans now to attend Parents Preview.
It is our mission to introduce you to the College, familiarize you with the academic program and many student services but still provide you enough time with your son or daughter to allow for a comfortable transition.
We hope you plan to join us for this popular event. Registration will close circa August 10, 2015. Please do not register your Lewis & Clark student for the events. We look forward to meeting you.

This tentative schedule will be updated as the summer progresses and the final schedule (plus other resource materials) will be available in printed form when you pick up your arrival packet and name tag on Wednesday, August 26 between 8am and 4pm in Templeton Center.
Get a preview of how your son or daughter might be spending their time during New Student Orientation from August 26 through August 30. A printed student schedule will be part of your arrival packet in addition to the final Parents Preview Schedule.
This calendar should assist you in making travel plans for your student to and from the campus.
