In Japan, “shinrin-yoku” is a mindfulness practice in which people immerse themselves in the sounds of nature. Shinrin means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.” Join other new students and Director of Spiritual Life Hilary Martin Himan in this mindfulness practice to destress, be present, and experience awe and wonder in your new neighborhood. Whether or not you have a spiritual or religious practice, forest bathing is accessible to all. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes.
