Students of Color Speakeasy
The Students of Color Speakeasy is a discussion forum for students who identify with an underrepresented racial and/or ethnic identity to share their experiences and connect with one another around issues of race and diversity at Lewis & Clark.
In this safe, yet informal space, we encourage students to speak honestly and have an open dialogue in order to build a community of allies who can support and listen to one another.
The conversations are meant to be open ended, centering around the student’s experiences and perspectives. Whether you want your voice to be heard or whether you just want to listen in, we hope this forum becomes a supporting resource to you and your success here at L&C.
In order to find out the time and place of a Student of Color Speakeasy, we must have your e-mail and/or phone number (if you are comfortable receiving text messages). To get on this list, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, you might miss out on the location and time of the next meeting! This information will not be shared outside of this group and is meant to create a truly safe space for this type of dialogue.
