Property Damage Policy
Destroying or damaging or attempting to destroy or damage the property of the College or of others on College premises or at College-sponsored activities is prohibited. This prohibited behavior includes reckless behavior that poses a reasonable risk of damage or destruction of property. In some cases, accidental damage that has been caused by negligent behavior may fall under this policy. Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to:
- The projection or dropping of any object or material which could cause injury or damage to persons or property.
- Vandalism, such as graffiti, to College property.
- Fire damage resulting from leaving heat generating sources unattended.
Individuals or groups found responsible for violating this policy may be required to pay restitution, if appropriate.
