Career Programs
We are always looking for volunteers to share their expertise and conduct mock interviews during various programs throughout the year. Areas where we would like assistance from alumni include helping students to:
- assess their values, interests, personality and skills;
- create an effective resume and cover letter;
- learn how to job search effectively;
- practice interviewing skills; and
- create a plan of action.

The Alumni/Pioneer Career Corps (PCC) is an initiative with the goal of connecting students to our remarkable network of alumni in an effort to better equip them for life after Lewis & Clark. PCC members assist students with practical career advice as well as offer a range of career perspectives. It is a way for students and alumni to connect to work on their resume, seek career guidance, do informational interviews or even mock interviews. For more information contact careers@lclark.edu.
Lewis & Clark College Career Network (L&C Net)
Everyday we speak with alumni who want to assist current students and recent alumni connect with career resources and information. The L&C Net is a network of alumni and parents who have volunteered to act as career “experts” to LC students and alumni in transition. Hosted as a group on LinkedIn, alumni volunteers live in locations throughout the United States and abroad, and represent a cross-section of industries and professional careers. Joining L&C Net is a great way to connect to students and share your career knowledge and expertise.
If you have not yet created a LinkedIn account, you will be prompted to do so. Once you have clicked to join the group, the registration will be pending until an L&C Net administrator approves your registration. Please contact us with any questions.
