Spring 2015 Teams
Nothin’ But Nanner
Bjorn Hansen | Brendy Hale
We make a banana-based frozen dessert that tastes and feels just like ice cream. The name “Nothin’ but Nanner” reflects our mission: to make a delicious ice cream alternative with nothing but natural whole foods that everyone can enjoy. Our goal is to develop a product line that will offer a less expensive alternative to ice cream that is dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, paleo-friendly, and low in sugar and calories.
Connect Abroad
Matt Sandler | Charles Lewis | Vytas Babusis | Miles Crabill
ConnectAbroad is a social networking site for study abroad students. This site takes advantage of what other travel websites and social networks lack. Primarily, it achieves four things: 1) it helps students figure out which city to study abroad in; 2) the best and hottest spots to go and see in each city; 3) it automatically connects and gives the students the ability to interact with those studying abroad in the same city; and 4) it gives students immediate access to events happening around their city.
Nibble
Sam Levenick | Erik Brown | Daniel Ham
Oregon’s culinary scene is booming, with about five hundred new restaurants opening every year. Despite the wealth of restaurants in the Portland area, it is not uncommon to have extreme wait times before being seated. Nibble aims to replace the conventional waitlist, making wait times between restaurants transparent and easy to navigate. No more will you have to gamble waiting around on an empty stomach.
