EyesCubed

What is social media for? The function may vary from networking to sharing videos that you feel capture some aspect of your personality. Whereas the current social media paradigm emphasizes the projection of your individuality, EyesCubed will be the first platform tailored to citizen activism with the goal of transforming a sea of individual voices into a wave of public will.  By contributing to a database of comments and multimedia uploads from other anonymous users, you will be given an arena to voice your dissent with all the immediacy that you’d expect from using Facebook or Twitter.  EyesCubed will provide an organized forum to target government and select trending issues in your community to publicize to the homepage. With an integrated map function, EyesCubed will make it easy to publish, discover, and study public perception of government by subject and location. Humanity can cover all angles of the story—let EyesCubed be your news anchor.

PlanIt - starting as “The Local Enthusiast Project”

Constantine Pankin | Scott Owen | Reid Sata

The Local Enthusiast Project connects users to the local community like never before.  Until now, local bloggers, thought leaders, and charities, did not have a commonplace to suggest the activities, places, events and meetups they are most excited about.  These locals are some of the most involved and energetic supporters of the community, and the Local Enthusiast Project will give them a collective voice.  Not only will we share the most local information available, our project gives back to the local community by increasing traffic for bloggers, promoting local businesses, and helping charities gain traction and support.  Interested in getting involved?  Visit localenthusiast.me to learn more.
