Pioneer Travel Program: Exploration and Discovery

The Pioneer Travel Program offers alumni, parents, and friends of the college opportunities for lifelong learning. Our programs are characterized by participation of Lewis & Clark faculty and staff with an expertise in the region of travel or theme of study. Our trips seek to build greater connections among the Lewis & Clark community. We look forward to providing travel experiences that are enriching and engaging adventures.

Upcoming Travel

Read what recent travelers have had to say about their Pioneer Travel experiences:

“Educational, intimate, focused, well run. One of the best group trips I’ve taken and I’ve done at least 20.” Iris Karow ’62

“As a veteran of two L&C trips, I know they are really well done and a perfect combination of fun and learning.” Lee Zellweger P’20

“This was my second Pioneer Travel trip and not my last I hope. Having an L&C professor on board is exceptional.” Georgeanna Freeman ’88

“Everything was top notch. We thought the idea of group travel with a group connected by the common thread of Lewis & Clark worked very well and we would definitely go on another L&C trip.” Katie and Gary ’85 Korotzer
