Beth Halvorsen

Beth Halvorsen ’87 lives in Clyde Hill, Washington. She is the managing director of asset services for CBRE, Inc. in Seattle, responsible for more than 39 million square feet of commercial real estate including office, industrial and retail properties. Ms. Halvorsen is responsible for the operational excellence and service delivery for this portfolio and oversees a team of more than 200 management and engineering professionals.   Previously she was an asset manager and vice president for TA Associates Realty in Boston, one of the largest privately held real estate advisors in the U.S., responsible for a 7.3 million-square-foot portfolio valued at $815 million. Prior to joining TA Realty she was the account executive and regional manager for EMCOR, a corporate real estate services firm responsible for 2.7 million square feet of Fidelity Investments’ owned assets in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina and New York. 

Ms. Halvorsen was also senior vice president of Norris, Beggs & Simpson, a full service commercial real estate firm based in Portland, Oregon. During her career she served on the board of Portland BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) and was president in 2001. She also served on the board of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and was president in Portland in 1998.  She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).  She also holds her real estate license in Washington. She is married to Patrick, and has three children.
